Delta Link Livery Design Contest
Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
A Traditional Chinese translation follows the English version for players’ convenience. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the two versions, the English version shall prevail.
This contest is jointly organised by Delta Region Transit (DRT) and The Ryan Railroad (TRR). References to the “organisers” in these terms mean both DRT and TRR.
The contest gives players an opportunity to share their creative ideas for Delta Link through draft livery designs.
We appreciate every player’s participation and the time, effort, and creativity invested in their submissions. We respect creators’ rights and aim to handle their work transparently, provide appropriate credit, and preserve the character of their designs.
By signing in, you agree to the Competition Login App Terms of Service. Before submitting an entry, you must also read and accept these Contest Terms and Conditions. The Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled.
1. Templates and submissions
1.1 Templates are provided “as is”
We have done our best to make the livery templates as detailed, clear, and user-friendly as possible. However, they are provided on an “as is” basis.
We do not guarantee that their dimensions, scale, proportions, details, or component positions exactly match the actual in-game mesh models. We also do not guarantee that designs created using the templates can be applied directly or completely to those models without adjustment.
1.2 Entries are concept designs
This contest is intended for players to present their livery ideas in draft or concept form. The templates are a guide for communicating colours, patterns, and overall design—not an exact production specification.
You are not required to produce a finished, model-ready texture.
1.3 Originality and permitted materials
Your submission must be your own original work, except for materials supplied by the organisers or materials you have permission to use. Please do not include copied designs or unauthorised third-party artwork, logos, or other protected materials.
If you use permitted third-party materials, please identify them and explain their source when submitting your entry.
1.4 Appropriate content
This contest is for general livery designs. Copyrighted anime liveries, including “itasha” designs featuring anime characters or artwork, are not accepted, even if you have permission to use those materials.
Entries must also not contain hateful, discriminatory, harassing, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate content. The organisers may request clarification about an entry or remove entries that do not meet these requirements.
1.5 One entry per person and Discord sign-in
Each person may submit only one entry through the official competition website. You must sign in using your own Discord account. Linking a Roblox account is not required.
This limit applies to the individual, not the account. You must not submit additional entries using alternate Discord accounts or through another person’s account.
Submitting multiple entries to bypass this rule will result in disqualification of all entries submitted by that person.
Discord sign-in confirms control of an account; it does not establish that every account belongs to a different person. The organisers may investigate suspected duplicate entries before deciding whether to disqualify them.
1.6 Required logo
The organisers will provide a logo for Delta Link. Your livery design must include the provided logo. You may change its colours to suit your design.
1.7 No AI-generated content
Generative AI must not be used to create or modify any part of your submission. This includes AI-generated artwork, patterns, logos, and other design elements, even if they are edited afterwards.
Entries containing such content will be disqualified.
1.8 Website submissions and confirmation
Entries must be submitted through the official competition website by the deadline stated in the contest announcement. The website is hosted on the Cloudflare Pages pages.dev address announced by the organisers. deltalink.clivaro.io is used for contact email addresses only, not website hosting.
You are responsible for completing the required fields, uploading your design in an accepted format and size, and ensuring that the submission is accurate and readable.
An entry is received only when the website confirms successful submission. Signing in, selecting a file, or starting an upload does not by itself constitute submission. Please keep your submission reference.
If you encounter an error or an incorrect duplicate-entry message, contact support@deltalink.clivaro.io rather than submitting through another account. Any correction, replacement, or alternative submission arrangement must be approved by the organisers.
1.9 Review and public display
Entries may be reviewed for compliance before appearing in the website gallery or any public voting stage. Submission confirmation does not mean that an entry has been approved or selected.
Approved entries may be displayed with their design title, concept description, and submitted credit name. Discord user IDs and private voting records will not be included in the public gallery.
Any public voting stage will follow separately announced rules, including eligibility, voting limits, voting dates, tie handling, and how votes affect the final result. The existence of a voting feature does not, by itself, mean that the highest-voted entry automatically wins.
2. Design adaptation and implementation
2.1 Winning designs may be modified
Winning designs may need to be adapted by the development team before they can be applied to the actual mesh models.
These changes may include, but are not limited to:
- Rescaling, repositioning, or adjusting the proportions of design elements.
- Cropping, removing, or simplifying certain elements.
- Changing colours, contrast, or other visual details.
- Adjusting text, logos, and patterns around doors, windows, seams, and other model features.
The development team will aim to preserve the design’s main concept and recognisable character. However, the final in-game livery may differ from the submitted draft.
2.2 Collaboration with winning creators
We may invite winning creators to collaborate with the development team, provide additional materials, or review and confirm proposed modifications.
We value creators’ input and will aim to discuss substantial changes that significantly affect the identity of a design. However, routine technical adjustments may be made without requesting approval for each individual change.
If a creator cannot respond within an agreed timeframe, the team may proceed with necessary adjustments within the scope of these terms.
2.3 Implementation of winning designs
We will do our best to implement the winning designs in Delta Link. However, technical limitations or development delays may affect our ability to implement them or the timing of their release.
If these issues delay or prevent implementation, we will aim to keep the affected creators informed and explain the situation.
3. Creator rights and credit
3.1 Ownership of your work
You retain ownership of the original work you create. Entering the contest does not transfer ownership of your design to DRT or TRR.
You may continue to display your original submission in your portfolio or share it publicly, provided you do not present it as an officially released Delta Link livery before its release.
3.2 Permission to display entries
By submitting an entry, you grant both DRT and TRR non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display it for purposes directly related to this contest, including entry showcases, result announcements, and contest publicity, with credit to you.
3.3 Permission to use selected designs
If your design wins or is selected for implementation, you grant both DRT and TRR non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to reproduce, adapt, and use it for Delta Link’s development, in-game display, and related publicity.
This permission includes the modifications described in Section 2. It does not transfer ownership of your original work or permit unrelated uses outside that scope. Any proposed use beyond this scope will require separate permission from you.
Unless otherwise stated in the contest announcement or separately agreed with you, no additional payment is promised beyond the announced prizes.
3.4 Creator credit
Winning creators will be credited in the official results announcement using the credit name submitted through the website or another name agreed with the organisers. This may be a Roblox username, Discord display name, or other appropriate creator name; account linking is not required to use that name.
If a winning design is implemented, its creator will also be credited on a train badge inside the train carrying that livery. Where the development team has adapted the design, the credit will still acknowledge the original creator.
Please ensure that the name supplied with your entry is accurate.
3.5 Contact information and retained credit
Private contact information used to coordinate a selected design will be deleted after the livery is officially implemented and released, as explained in the Privacy Policy. The creator’s agreed public credit name and livery design may continue to be retained and displayed within the permissions granted by these terms.
Where a design is not selected, withdrawn, or will no longer be implemented, contact information will be deleted when it is no longer necessary for competition administration or outstanding disputes. It will not be retained indefinitely merely because implementation is delayed.
4. Contest updates and acceptance
4.1 Changes to the contest
If technical issues or development circumstances require the contest to be adjusted, postponed, or cancelled, the organisers will communicate the change through an official announcement.
Any proposed expansion of the permission to use an already-submitted design will require the affected creator’s separate agreement.
4.2 Acceptance
By submitting an entry, you confirm that you have the right to submit the work and grant the permissions described above, and that you have read and accepted these terms.
